I'm a member in Nashville. Love this site. I can really relate to the person that used to belong to the parent church. I've been through that, too. I found the ICOG and I found home. Even though our beloved leader is no longer with us we all must never quit.

i am very sad right now and would really appreciate a prayer. i was once a member of the parent church and i have never stopped believing in everything i was taught but i havent kept any of the holy days or sabbath in years. at first i tried by myself to keep doing them but i failed. i cannot let go and i dont want to but there seems to be too many obstacles in the way for me to return to church. everyone i knew then is gone or got very weird. i still run into former members that dont want the armstrong name mentioned and they all seem to live in my town. im just sad because it seems like everything good in my life has gone away or is going away. please pray that God has a plan for me to begin again and this time succeed in being a true christian.i really think ive been down more since Ted Armstrong died i just feel very sad all the time even when happy things are going on. thank you for listening
